Seventeen-year-old Danny Morgan lives near San Francisco. The summer vacation is about to begin and his father has almost finished the design of a new, top-secret computer. Danny and his father take a holiday together and go to Sunrise Ranch in Nevada. Danny dreams of riding in the rodeo and of winning the gold lasso - the prize for the best rodeo rider.
